What species of reader are you?

Laura E. Kelly created this marvelous Linnean-style classification chart of over 50 species of reader.  It's very thorough; I'll be surprised if you can't find yourself somewhere on this chart.  Most of us regular readers are probably crossbreeds.  I'm a true mutt myself, with touches of Hoader, Library Lover, Re-reader, Spoiler, Comfort Reader, Audiobook Listener, Kindle (e-reader) Convert, and Cross-under, plus a smattering of unidentifiable species.

  3. Ha ha, I love this! I'm a re-reading, multitasking book worshipper. But mostly, I'm a sleepy bedtime reader who does exactly as the chart says: I fall asleep with the lights on and the book on my face :)

    1. At least the book is on your face. It's usually the other way 'round for me. :)

  5. How fun is this!? I'm a chronological reader, underliner/scribbler (when reading for school), re-reader (it's a problem), book swagger, kindle convert, and book snob (I like hype, okay??)

    Thanks so much for sharing!

    1. You're welcome; I'm glad you enjoyed it! BTW, I love re-reading, so I don't see it as a problem.

I love to hear what you have to say -- really! Unfortunately, I've been getting a lot of spam in addition to your wonderful comments, so I've had to turn on comment moderation. That means your comment may not post right away. I promise I'll post it -- and answer it -- as soon as I can!
