For Review:
Thanks to L. C. at the Penguin Group for The River of No Return. So far, it's really good! The other two are from NetGalley. I can't wait to read that Temeraire novel -- but I'll have some catching up to do, since I'm listening to the second book of the series now!

My daughter snagged Hexed before we even got home. That's OK; I have plenty of other books to read first!

You had a good week on your blog! I keep thinking I will start Naomi Novik's series. One of these days...
ReplyDeleteI definitely need the book to clear out clutter!
Me too! Clutter has taken over my house, my home office...
DeleteNice haul. Some I haven't seen before too. :D Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteJenea @ Books Live Forever's Sunday Post
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great week!
DeleteHexed looks really good. I don't blame your daughter for snatching it up! :) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my SP & STS.
Sandy @ Somewhere Only We Know
I loved Hounded, the first book, so I'm eager to read this one. I've got several ARCs to finish first, though, so she can have Hexed for a little while. It's a lot of fun sharing so many bookish interests with her.
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Ha, I laughed about your daughter, my girls do that sometimes too, but like you said I have plenty of books. Nice haul this week, hope you have some spring like weather this week. The Sunday Post
ReplyDeleteWe're having absolutely GORGEOUS weather today and yesterday -- perfect spring weather! And there are white-and-purble violets all over our front lawn.
DeleteI guess your girls share your taste in books, too? My daughter and I can talk books for hours, and I love it that she recommends as many titles to me as I do to her.
Great Haul -- Enjoy your week -

Thank you, Heather! Glad you stopped by!
DeleteAwesome haul this week! I may just have to check out a few of them myself.. :)

I'm glad you stopped by, and thank you for the follow!
DeleteRiver of No Return looks REALLY good. I've just added it to Goodreads and I'm going to add the first book in the Temeraire series as well because I haven't really read a good book/series with dragons since Eragon so it's about time I think! :) Happy reading Lark!
ReplyDeleteSheri @ Perks of Being a Bookworm
So far, River of No Return is wonderful. I'm really liking it!
DeleteIf you like dragons you'll probably love Temeraire... especially if you also like either Jane Austen or Patrick O'Brien.
Have a great week!
Interesting haul. Love the cover for The River of No Return, the title makes me want to know more. The decluttering book, I need that, I adore decluttering, feels so good :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me earlier :-)
BookishTrish @ Between the Lines
Oh, boy, you can't imagine how badly I need to declutter! We've been in the same house for... well, it will be 20 years in August. Things just sort of accumulate, if you know what I mean. And I've never been very good at getting rid of things, but it does feel good once it's done.
DeleteHexed! I <3 Atticus and Oberon. :)
ReplyDeleteA book on clearing clutter; yeah I could use that. :D
Happy Reading!
I love Oberon -- he's so funny! I really enjoyed Hounded, so I'm looking forward to Hexed. As for the clutter book, well, see my reply above. ;-) Definitely needed!
DeleteI really need to get to Kevin Hearne's series. I have the first three books, just keep running out of time. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy all your new babies and have a great week!
And I have a Sunday Post up if you'd like to stop by...

I need to finish that series, too. Maybe now that the library FINALLY found their missing copy of Hexed, I can get going!
DeleteOooo! Blood of the Tyrants looks good! I'd never heard of the series before, I guess I better check it out!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking books! I hope you enjoy them all and have a great week!
I absolutely loved the first book in the Temeraire series -- I reviewed it here just last week. If you like dragons, you'll probably like it. If you also like either Jane Austen or the Master and Commander series or the Sharpe series, you'll probably love the Temeraire books.
DeleteI like the sound of Throw Out Fifty Things. I'm gearing up for a spring garage sale, hoping to declutter our house. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
I need to do that, too! But we can't have yard sales in our neighborhood, so I take most of it to Goodwill or the Friends of the Library booksale.
DeleteOh I've heard really good things about Hexed! Hope you and your daughter enjoy it. :-D ...That reminds me that I really need to read the book my mother lent me!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely week! :-)
I love sharing books with relatives! And I wish you a wonderful week, as well.
DeleteThanks, Heidi, you too! And thank you for stopping by!
