I signed up for the Ho-Ho-Ho Read-at-hon sponsored by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Jennifer @ Bawdy Book Blog. The read-a-thon runs from Nov. 7 through Nov. 11, giving me just 5 days to read as many holiday-themed books as I can. My goal is to try to get through at least 5 of these:
- Candlelight Christmas (Susan Wiggs)
- Christmas in Snowflake Canyon (RaeAnn Thayne) - Review
- A Fool's Gold Christmas (Susan Mallery) - finished!
- Christmas on 4th Street (Susan Mallery) - finished!
- Miracle Road (Emily March)
- Love on Main Street (anthology)
- A Cold Creek Christmas Surprise (RaeAnn Thayne)
I've got yet another indexing project at the same time, so this will be quite a challenge. Wish me luck! (Fortunately, they will all also count toward the Clean Out Your E-reader Challenge. I like being efficient that way!)
[ETA: I'm adding links to reviews as I complete them.]
Lark, you've got a great goal! I'm working on my post and I'm just hoping to get through two books! Good Christmas reading to you!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at my schedule for the next 5 days and thinking I may have been a tad overoptimistic! Ah, well.
DeleteSounds like a great list of Holiday books!
ReplyDeleteI'm also joining this Read-a-thon, looking forward to it!
Have fun with it, Melissa!
DeleteAwesome list Lark, I am reading a few of these myself!!
ReplyDeleteI thought you might be! ;-)
DeleteAwesome list Lark! I see a couple that I have sitting on my Kindle waiting to be read but I'm hoping to plough through my physical Christmasy books that I've accumulated over the years.
ReplyDeleteI'm double-dipping, in a way -- I'm also doing the Clean Out Your E-reader Challenge. I'm behind on reading ARCs, so this will help me catch up at least a little! Enjoy your Christmas books, and the challenge.
DeleteI'm doing that challenge as well! I'm saving my Christmasy ARCs for later this month :)
DeleteGood Luck on your books. I don't have any of these, so I will look forward to your reviews.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I wasn't familiar with any of yours either -- one of the fun things about blogging: we get to find out about books we might not otherwise come across. Have fun with the HoHoHoRAT!
