Challenge Wrap-up: My COYER Summer Vacation

http://fantasyismorefun.com/2014/05/coyer-summer-vacation-sign-up-post.html

COYER Summer Vacation was hosted by Berls @ Fantasy Is More Fun and Michelle B @ Because Reading

The COYER Summer vacation challenge ran from June 21 through September 5. The rules were simple: pretty much any book you read counted toward the challenge.  My goal was to read one ARC or review copy and one purchased/free/gifted/borrowed book per week.

So how'd I do? Well, the challenge ran for 11 weeks, so I needed to get through at least 22 books - preferably 11 ARCs/review copies and 11 personal-choice books. I read 31 books, not counting about 6 romance re-reads toward the end of the challenge (not listed below.) 21 were review copies/ARCs, so 10 were personal choice.  I think I did pretty well - almost 3 books per week!

This was a great experience. I'll definitely do it again if Berls and Michelle offer it next summer.

    1. Thanks, Stephanie! It helped that I was on vacation during 2 weeks of that... and that I went through about 3 weeks of really bad insomnia, so I was awake and reading in the middle of the night. I rue the insomnia, but not the chance to read!

    1. Well, I didn't read much that was horrible, so you should have some good books to look forward to!

  3. You did great for this challenge! It's nice that you alternated between the ARCs and your personal stash. I tried to do the same, it was nice to get a variety of books. This was my first COYER challenge and I had a lot of fun. I can't wait for the next one =)

I love to hear what you have to say -- really! Unfortunately, I've been getting a lot of spam in addition to your wonderful comments, so I've had to turn on comment moderation. That means your comment may not post right away. I promise I'll post it -- and answer it -- as soon as I can!
